A member of An Garda Síochána's Training College in Templemore has been suspended.
The man was suspended from the college following allegations made against him regarding an assault on the college grounds.

In a statement released by An Garda Síochána, they said: "Gardaí attached to the Clare-Tipperary Division are investigating an allegation of assault in the Garda College.

"A male trainee Garda has had his training suspended.
"An Garda Síochána has no further comment at this time."
