Within his latest book, titled Great Irish Pilgrim Journeys, John G tells some fascinating stories about the mystical paths footed by past generations of Irish people.
The book outlines many key talking points and interesting facts about The Celtic Camino, The Pilgrim Passport Journey and St Declan’s Way, St Patrick’s Way and many other well-walked pilgrimage paths.
The journeys described take anywhere from four hours to eight days to complete.
Accompanied by detailed maps and beautiful photographs of the stunning landscape along the pilgrim paths, this is an ideal collection for the keen wayfarer wishing to explore Ireland’s deep heritage.

It will be launched by Grainne Moynihan, Chairperson of St Declan’s Way, on Friday, March 28 in the Cabragh Wetlands Centre, Thurles at 7:30 pm.
