Vision Ireland is organising a “Trip to Tipp” this month.
On Saturday, June 28, Vision Ireland will host a cycle, fun run and competitive run.

The event will get underway from Thurles Sarsfields GAA Club.
Several different events will take place throughout the event, beginning at different times.
A 120km cycle, dubbed the “Glen of Aherlow Challenge, will begin at 9:30am.
A 60km “scenic tour” cycle will commence at 9:45am.
A 25km casual cycle will then get underway at 10am.
With regards to running, the 5km competitive run will take place starting at 11am, with the 5km “Fun Run ‘n’ Roll” getting underway at 11:15am.
For the Fun Run, participants can walk, jog or scoot, with children being able to cycle.
Same-day registration begins at 8am.
The organisers say the day promises to be filled with activities, music, games and fun, all dedicated to the memory of Lorraine Shanahan.
