PICTURES: Touching gesture as Tipperary rallies for Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre

It has been a busy period for the Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre in Tipperary town with several organisations making significant donations in recent weeks.

A Coffee Morning in memory of the late Breda Marnane of Barrack Street who passed away on August 15. Organised by Patricia O’Dwyer, the Cofee Morning took place in the Fig Tree in Bansha on Friday, November 8 with the Marnane family providing all the requisites and confectionery for the event which was a great success. TD Mattie McGrath was also in attendance with the fantastic sum of €800 raised on the day.

Finally, for the month that's in it, a number of men from Knockanrawley Resource Centre are taking part in Movember with all funds raised going to Circle of Friends. You can support the initiative by donating here.
