RIP: Tipperary mother of four who died in tragic Tipperary house fire to be laid to rest

Marguerite O'Halloran (née O'Dwyer) of Dillon Street, Tipperary Town passed away on January 31, 2025 following a house fire.

Tributes have been paid to the victim of a tragic house fire in Tipperary which occurred over the Bank Holiday weekend as the much-loved woman is to be laid to rest on Friday. 

Marguerite O'Halloran (née O'Dwyer) of Dillon Street, Tipperary Town passed away on January 31, 2025 following a fatal house fire which has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Pre-deceased by her father Ned (Eddie), she is deeply mourned by her loving children; Mikey, Conor, Aoife and Jack, husband Toddy, mother Kitty, brother Jimmy, her extended family, relatives and friends.

Arriving to St Michael’s Church, Tipperary, on Friday, at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St Michael’s Cemetery, Tipperary.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of the fire at a house at Dillon Street, at approximately 8:30pm on Friday night last and the body of a woman in her 50s was discovered at the property.
