In a post on social media, boxing coach Chris Toomey said: "In the 4, 5, 6 championships a few weeks ago we had five boxers entered and came away with two silver and three gold.
"Those three then went to their All Irelands where we came away with another two silver and one gold with Lauren Long claiming her second Irish title for two years running," Mr Toomey wrote.
"Over the last two weekends we had the 1, 2, 3 championships where we had seven boxers entered, we lost one boxer at the semi final stage last week, with six progressing to the finals this weekend. Three of these all won we added another two gold and one silver giving us a total of eight new Munster champions over the last month or so," he said.
The young boxers will now head to the National Stadium in Dublin in the hopes of bringing more medals back to the Premier County.

The passionate Tipperary boxing coach also appealed to any local businesses who would be interested in helping out in getting the kids to Dublin as the club receives no funding.
"For those three lads to go to Dublin I had enough money put aside in the kitty to cover our expenses. Most people probably don't know that boxing in Ireland and especially the smaller clubs like ours get absolutely no funding from anywhere and our kitty is solely from training fees and is whatever is left over after rent and electricity are paid," Mr Toomey said.
"If any business can help us out in any way please get in contact with me, we have had some great help in previous years from local and international ex-pat businesses and it is always so very much appreciated," he said.
