A company in Tipperary has been put on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) priority sites list.
Tipperary Co-Op, which recently announced their merger with Arrabawn Co-Op, is on the EPA list for "discharges to water" from the Tipperary Town based company.
The EPA say that the priority sites list "is a system of performance-based indicators to rank industrial and waste licensed sites in order of priority for enforcement".

The Tipperary site was among only three sites that remain on the list in 2025 having not increased their compliance during 2024.
Tipperary Co-Op was inspected 15 times last year by inspectors from the EPA, with an aim to increase the Tipperary company's compliance with environmental regulations.
