The golden glow of an unforgettable autumn? The weight of a hard winter? The freedom of a summer’s day?
‘Shaped by Seasons’ is more than an art project. It is a witnessing to the passing of time, transformation and the beauty of creative ageing.

It is a two-week creative experience designed to explore the richness of life’s journey through painting, creative writing, mindfulness and yoga.

Working in an uninterrupted studio setting and with a variety of art materials on large canvases participants will give shape to personal memories, emotions and dreams. Creative writing will celebrate pas and present Lust for Life, while mindfulness and yoga will nurture a deep connection between body, mind and creative spirit.

As the project unfolds so too will a body of work – paintings that hold the essence of lived experiences, poetry that speaks to the heart and a collective celebration of creativity in later life.

The project will culminate in an exhibition at 6s&7s Gallery where each unique voice will be honoured and their creative stories shared.
