Tipperary authorities launch helpline to assist vulnerable residents after Storm Éowyn

Tipperary County Council has launched a helpline to support vulnerable residents following the impact of Storm Éowyn.

The dedicated contact number, 0818 065001, has been established in collaboration with the HSE, the Departments of Housing and Social Protection, and An Garda Síochána. This service aims to assist individuals in remote areas who may need extra support.

As of Tuesday afternoon, power has been restored to most areas, with just over 60 households—mainly in North Tipperary—still affected.

Uisce Éireann has confirmed that water services should now be fully operational. However, approximately 11,000 homes, farms, and businesses remain under Boil Water Notices.
