Siul Eile's Bite Size Trail Walking Series starts in Carrick-on-Suir this weekend

Tipperary's social walking organisation, Siul Eile, is inviting walkers to take part in its Bite Size Trail Walking Series along the 104km South Leinster Way this month starting in Carrick-on-Suir tomorrow (Saturday, January 13)

This series of walks will be a fantastic way to shake off the Christmas excess, skirting along the lowlands of Tipperary's iconic Slievenamon, Brandon Hill in Kilkenny and Mount Leinster in Carlow.

The routes will encompass rolling hills, riverside paths, secluded forests, hidden gems and pretty villages. The first stage will be a 9km walk from Carrick-on-Suir to Piltown on January 13.

There will be seven more stage walks ranging in length from 10km to 17km through counties Kilkenny and Carlow ending on Saturday, March 23 in Kildavin, county Carlow. It costs €20 per stage to take part and €140 for all stages.
