Emma Stone in Kinds of Kindness
The trailer for Emma Stone's new film has been released.
Produced by Irish company Element Pictures, Kinds of Kindness marks Emma Stone's fourth collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos - who she worked with on Poor Things.
Kinds of Kindness, previously named AND, is the next film from Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos following the awards success of Poor Things.
This will mark Lanthimos’ fifth collaboration with Irish production company Element Pictures. The screenplay was co-written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou and developed by Element Pictures and Film4.
Searchlight Pictures have released the trailer for Kinds of Kindness, a movie described as a "triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader."
Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe will produce the film for Element Pictures alongside Kasia Malipan and Lanthimos. Ollie Madden and Daniel Battsek are executive producing for co-financier Film4.
The film will be screened in Ireland in June 2024.
