Knockroe Passage Tomb will be discussed at Historical Society lecture in Tipperary

All lectures of the Clonmel Historical and Archaeological Society are held in the Main Guard

A meeting of Clonmel Historical and Archaeological Society will be held at the Main Guard at 8.15pm next Monday night, September 16.

Tara Clarke, Archaeologist, will speak on Knockroe Passage Tomb in a presentation drawing on recent research: Antler and Bone pins of Knockroe Passage Tomb. 

Knockroe is located near the historic Ahenny High Crosses about 10 kilometres north of Carrick-on-Suir in the Linguan Valley. 

All of the Historical Society lectures are held in the Main Guard. 

Admission is members, €5 and non-members, €7. 

Renewals and new memberships cost €10. Card payments are now accepted.
