The importance of hedgerows will be discussed at lecture in Tipperary

The lecture will be held at 8.15pm at the Main Guard on Monday night

The January Lecture of Clonmel Historical and Archaeological Society will be held at the Main Guard at 8.15pm this Monday night, January 20.

Alan Moore of Hedgerows Ireland will give his postponed lecture on ‘The Importance of Hedgerows’.

As well as their natural and biodiversity value, hedgerows are an important aspect of our heritage defining the landscape, boundaries, properties, rights of way and old roads.

Renewals and new memberships of the society costs €10.
