Main stage line-up announced for music festival taking place in Tipperary this Summer

One of Ireland’s most exciting emerging festivals, When Next We Meet, is back in Tipperary with more artist reveals for 2025, and arguably its most electrifying line-up yet.

Since launching in 2022 at Clonmel’s Raheen House, the South Tipperary gem has quickly earned national attention—picking up an IMRO nomination for Best Small Festival and hosting previous standout performances from Bell X1, Lisa Hannigan, Talos, Ye Vagabonds and many more.

Now in its fourth year, the festival continues its mission to champion the best of alternative Irish music in a setting that’s as intimate as it is magical. Set in the stunning valley of Sliabh na mBan on the picturesque grounds of Raheen House, When Next We Meet returns this June 7th & 8th with headliners Pillow Queens, Villagers, and Morgana leading the charge.

Joining the Saturday bill is Dublin’s DIY slouch-rock sensation Skinner, bringing gritty energy and bold instrumentation to the main stage. Fresh from the success of his 2025 debut album New Wave Vaudeville, Skinner has built a cult following with his raw live shows, earning comparisons to the Pixies, Morphine, and The B52s.

Sunday’s line-up is equally stacked. Opening the stage is Zoé Basha—a singular voice and one third of three-part harmony singing group Rufus Nightjar, blending Appalachian folk, Irish trad, and vintage blues into something entirely her own. Her upcoming debut solo album Gamble drops this month and is already causing a stir.

Next up is Join Me In The Pines, the solo project of Bell X1’s David Geraghty. A chameleon of sound, Geraghty moves effortlessly between the moody folk of 2014’s Inherit and the synth-laced grooves of 2019’s Monomania. 2025’s KOMOREBI is poised to be his most expansive record yet, and is set for release this year.

Rounding out the main stage ahead of Villagers is the ever-inventive Paddy Hanna, hailed as a true “artist’s artist” and one of Ireland’s finest songwriters. With four albums under his belt, a support slot for Burt Bacharach and fans including Fontaines D.C., Hanna’s upcoming release OYLEGATE promises an odyssey of rich soundscapes, emotional depth, and playful unpredictability from one of the country's best kept indie-secrets.

This year’s small-scale festival goes beyond the music once again. Festivalgoers can enjoy locally-sourced artisanal food and drink, a curated arts and crafts Sunday Fair, DJs, and the return of the much-loved Hidden Gems Stage, supporting local and emerging artists at pivotal stages in their careers. Capturing the magic of hidden festival gems with no need for tents or wellies, When Next We Meet offers a unique, immersive festival experience in the stunning valley of Sliabh na mBan.
