Music lovers, take note! Tipperary County Council has confirmed that sections of Thurles town will be temporarily closed to traffic in early July to facilitate pedestrian access to the highly anticipated Liberty Music Festival.
A temporary road closure will be in effect on the L-4201 Emmett Street and Thomond Road from midnight on Saturday, July 5 until midnight on Monday, July 7, 2025.
The closures are being put in place to ensure safe and easy pedestrian access throughout the town centre during the festival weekend, which is expected to draw large crowds to Liberty Square and the surrounding areas.
