Walking in Tipperary

Friday Evening Walks
Due to thunder, lightning and heavy rain last Friday, the walk was cancelled.
This Friday, June 8, we are heading to Glen of Aherlow. Contact Camel Needham (086) 260 2133.
Friday Evening Walks are low level walks, of 2/3 hours duration, mostly on forest track. If you want to get out and about in the countryside, meet new people, and make new friends, just come along with sturdy footwear, rain jacket, drink and snack.
Meet every Friday at Slievenamon Road car park in Thurles at 6.20pm and leave at 6.30pm sharp.

Sunday Walks, June 3
The A Group of 6 hillwalkers led by Denise Laffan started at The Vee, walked up along side the Sugarloaf, then headed onto Knockmealdowns.
Ollie Walsh led the B group of 15 up a gully in the West Galtees.
Brid Ryan Bourke & Tina Bourke led the extended Ramble to Glenbarrow.
Sunday, June 10, A and C walks leave from opposite Cashel fire station, at 11am.
