A variety concert in aid of the Carrick Meal Assistance Service takes place in the Carraig Hotel next Friday, October 5 from 8pm.
A great night of music and dance is promised and there will be raffle and spot prizes on the night. Tickets cost €10 and are available from any volunteer/committee member and the parish office in Carrick-on-Suir.
The new service is now providing up to 27 meals to elderly and vulnerable people in Carrick-on-Suir.
"We thank the public for their support. All funds raised at the concert will go to make up the shortfall in funds for meals on wheels and help to pay off the existing debt," said a Carrick-on-Suri Meal Assistance Service spokesperson.
