A planning application has been lodged for development works at Lisfunshion, Ballyporeen in Tipperary involving the reactivation of a property used formerly for residential use to be used as a residential dwelling for "agri-tourism".
The application, lodged by Michael O'Donnell, seeks permission for alterations to an existing derelict dwelling.

It includes alterations to an existing derelict dwelling; raising of the eaves and ridge height by 1,150mm; installation of six rooflights; installation of a new effluent treatment system and tertiary filter; all associated site boundary and site development works.

The proposed works are to be carried out within the curtilage of a protected structure.
A decision on the application is due by Tipperary County Council on July 29, 2025.
