The late Fr Bernard Allon.
The death has occurred of Fr Bernard Allon, Ruah, Kyle, The Commons, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary and formerly of Hexham and Newcastle Diocese, U.K.
Fr Bernard passed away peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Kilkenny, on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
He was pre-deceased by his parents George and Ellen, and his brothers and sisters.

He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his sister Rita, his brother-in-law Barry, his nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces, great- grandnephews, all the members of L’Arche Community, Kilkenny, his many friends in Ireland and abroad, relatives and neighbours.
Fr Bernard will be reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Tuesday, 12 March from 4pm with funeral prayers at 6pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan.
His requiem Mass will be on Friday, 13 March at 11am and burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
