Laois Garda Ronan Maher has been given a hero's reception following his leading of the Tipperary hurling team to All-Ireland victory.
Garda Maher is a Laois Community Garda and his colleagues, family, fans, special guests the Little Blue Heroes and Laois sports hero Pat Critchley all gathered at the Midlands Park Hotel on Wednesday, August 13 to honour him.
