Tipperary Olympian Sharlene Mawdsley blew a kiss to the heavens to her late father Thomas "Tucker" Mawdsley after winning the 400m race at the Morton Games on Friday night in Dublin.
Sharlene Mawdsley won the 400m in 51.61 seconds ahead of Lisanne de Witte and was mobbed by fans after the event as well.
De Witte was part of the Netherlands' gold medal-winning team in the 4x400m at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
The Newport athlete shared the picture with the caption: "Doing it for you."
She added: "The most special evening racing at home. Grateful to take the win & even more grateful for the support."
It's been a tough time for Sharlene of late following the sad passing of her father, Thomas "Tucker" Mawdsley.
In a recent statement after her first race following Tucker's passing, Sharlene said: "I don't want to continue to touch on this subject publicly however, I do want to express my gratitude to those who have helped me these last number of weeks.
"To those who helped me get to the start line, my competitors for being so gracious and understanding, to my teammates and the staff this weekend for their help, they trusted me, when I wasn’t sure I even trusted myself.

Meanwhile, Sharlene shared a kiss with Tipperary hurler and boyfriend Michael Breen after the Premier County's victory over Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park.
The Olympian had told fans she was travelling to Croke Park for the first time to support her boyfriend Michael - who lined out at corner-back when the Premier County took on Kilkenny and who played an instrumental role in Tipperary's victory.
In a Q&A with her Instagram followers, Sharlene was asked if she was "Croker bound?"
