A national Heritage Week celebration took place at the Swiss Cottage in Cahir

A lovely afternoon was enjoyed by all in the Swiss Cottage in Cahir took place on Sunday August 24 with an outdoor performance by the Galtee Mountain Boys to celebrate National Heritage Week.

A delighted crowd gathered to watch and listen at this special free event.

The band performed lively traditional Irish music, with songs and tunes inspired by our landscapes, culture and shared history.

Their music captures the spirit of the past while keeping it alive for today’s audience and a perfect way to honour our heritage together.
