Deadline looms for public submissions on draft Carrick-on-Suir Local Area Plan

Tipperary County Council is reminding the people of Carrick-on-Suir that they have until 4pm on Monday, December 9 to submit their views on the draft Carrick-on-Suir Local Area Plan for 2025-2031.

The draft plan sets out the  land use strategy and investment objectives for the town to ensure a good quality of life for its community, support employment and homes, and to do so sustainably and successfully.

The Council’s Planning Section is encouraging people to have their say on this Draft Plan either by posting comments to the Civic Offices in Nenagh or Clonmel or online through the Council’s consultation portal.

Copies of the plan are available to view at the Council’s Civic Offices in Clonmel and Nenagh, Carrick-on-Suir Library and Carrick Municipal District offices as well as online on the Council website’s consultation portal.

Anyone with questions about the draft plan can contact the Council Planning Office on 0818 06 5000.
