The monthly Poetry Plus open mic session where writers gather to read from their work that normally takes place in Carrick-on-Suir's Brewery Lane Theatre is being moved to Zoom tonight (Friday, January 24) due to Storm Éowyn.
"For everyone's safety and ease of mind, I am implementing plan B and have made the decision to havePoetryPlusonZoom, instead of in Brewery Lane Theatre, starting at our normal time of 8pm," said the event's organiser Margaret O'Brien.
"It means we will still enjoy our first Poetry Plus of 2025 and it might also give people who live at some distance the chance to join us and to participate. To take part please use theZoomlink below," she added.
