Funding of €10,000 has been awarded to St John the Baptist Church on Friar Street, Cashel, to support essential conservation works to external walls of the building.
The funding has been approved under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme, administered by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and delivered locally through Tipperary County Council.
The scheme is designed to assist owners and custodians of protected structures and historic buildings in carrying out vital maintenance and conservation works, helping to safeguard Ireland’s built heritage for future generations.
