Sir Thomas' Bridge near Clonmel

Tipperary County Council has given notice that it will temporarily close Sir Thomas' Bridge near Clonmel between mid-June and the end of August to facilitate repairs to the bridge.

The closure of the L-6513 road at Sir Thomas' Bridge from its junction with Ferryhouse to its junction with the R680 Clonmel to Carrick Road will be in place from 7.30am on Monday, June 16 to 6.30pm on Thursday, August 28.

All traffic will be diverted via the R680 Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir Road or the N24 Clonmel to Carrick on Suir.

The Council says local access will only be permitted.
