A planning application has been submitted to Tipperary County Council for change of use from a commercial premises to a residential premises.
The owners of 38 and 39 Gladstone Street, Clonmel, plan to turn the first floor of both buildings into three new apartments.
Currently, Chinese restaurant Pearls and a vape shop trade on the premises.

The apartments will consist of one three-bed and two one-bed apartments above both shops.
Plans submitted to the council show that balcony's will be added to the buildings at the rear of the premises.

Tipperary County Council is due to reach a decision on whether to approve, refuse or seek further information on the planning application on July 30.
