The South Tipperary Art Group (STAG's) wonderful 57th annual art exhibition was launched by the Mayor, Pat English in Clonmel Library and was attended by a huge and appreciative audience.
Many artworks were sold on the night and since then.
The exhibition runs until this Saturday, June 21 at 1pm.
The featured artwork, by 35 of the group's 45 members, includes many scenes (local and general) in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pen and wash, coloured pencils and pastel with some ceramic artwork, textile and book work.
The group has lots more artworks on display in The Showgrounds Shopping Centre, the art display areas in Tipperary University Hospital, Befani's Restaurant and Hotel Minella's Leisure Centre, as well as many more in storage.
Contact the STAG Organiser, Maureen Purcell, at 086-8096823 to buy an artwork or to join Adult or Junior STAG.
