Tipperary gardaí detect number of motorists speeding outside national school

Tipperary gardaí detected a number of motorists who were well in excess of the speed limit outside a national school in the Nenagh district yesterday.
The Tipperary Roads Policing Unit were monitoring a 60km speed zone outside the school when they noted multiple drivers breaking the speed limit in wet weather conditions.
Fixed charge notices were issued to the drivers.
The gardaí have reminded the public that stopping distances significantly increase in wet weather conditions, and that it won't kill you to slow down.
