LATEST: Browne and Healy are neck and neck in race for a seat in Tipperary South

Both left leading candidates are just behind Imelda Goldsboro for the third seat

Browne   and Healy are neck and neck in race for a seat in Tipperary South

With 68% of the tally completed the battle between sitting TD Martin Browne, Sinn Féin and former TD Seamus Healy to finish ahead of one another in the race for a seat in Tipperary South is neck and neck.

Both of them, however, are behind Fianna Fail’s Imelda Goldsboro in that battle for the third seat.

The Fianna Fail candidate is on  3,451 votes in those tallies while Healy is on 3,095 and Browne on 3,048.

Both left-leaning candidates are aiming to finish ahead of each other in Carrick as they feel that would put them in a stronger position.
