Tipperary golfer makes the squad for upcoming Golf Ireland trip to France

It was another remarkable year of achievement for Tipperary golfer Donnacha Cleary

Donnacha Cleary is an up and coming golfer from Doneskeigh.

The Golf Ireland squads have been announced for the upcoming French U21 Girls and French Boys trips. An up and coming Tipperary Golfer, Donnacha Cleary from Donaskeigh, is amongst those making the journey.

The Esmond Trophy will see Emma Fleming (Elm Park) and Marina Joyce Moreno (Llavaneras) make the journey to Golf De St Cloud.

Ellen O’Shaughnessy is also on the waiting list for the competition while Chris Jelly (girls coach) and Sara Rose Shelly will accompany them between 28 March and 1 April.

Meanwhile, the French Boys is set for Golf De Courson, as Ireland are represented by Annerville award winner Donnacha Cleary (Tipperary), Fionn Dobbin (Malone), John Doyle (Fota Island), Mark Gazi (Tralee) and Jack Murphy (Douglas).

Boys manager, Martin Hynes (Athenry), and Stephen Hood (coach) will join them as they compete for the Michel Carlhian Trophy.
