Colm Taylor says it's a great honour to take over as captain of golf club in Tipperary

Colm Taylor, the new Captain of County Tipperary Golf and Country Club, has thanked outgoing captain Danny O’Dwyer for giving him the opportunity to serve as captain of the club, and said it was a great honour.

He wished the new board, under the chairmanship of Philip Ryan, well as they worked to bring the club back to its former glory.

He concurred with everything that that has been said in praise of the hardworking committee that has kept the club to the fore through the past year.

He looked forward to working with the committee and welcomed the new members, Pat Ryan, David Downey, Andrew Burke and John Graves.

He also paid tribute to the members who retired from the committee and thanked them for all their work and commitment to the club over their time on the committee.
