An appeal for Tipperary people to donate items after the recent earthquake

The aftereffects of the recent earthquake are still being felt

Once more Holycross steps up to the mark when others are in need. The Heart to Hand Turkey/Syria Earthquake Appeal is underway at present and a truck load of items is being organised for delivery to those in need after Lent.

There are a broad range of items required which are suitable to transport including non-perishable food, medical supplies & blankets which are urgently required by those on the ground.

Clothing is not a priority at this time. During lent the weekly collections were rice, pasta, soup, peas & beans, porridge, toothpaste & toothbrushes as well as sudocream and soap.

Any of these items can be left at Church Doors or the Parish Office in Holycross while all contributions or donations will be greatly appreciated.
