Perfect timing! Joint fundraising barbecue in mid Tipperary on Sunday afternoon

Moyne Templetuohy Camogie Club and Templetuohy Community Playground will host a joint fundraising barbecue and family fun day at the Temple Bar Pub on Sunday

Joint Fundraising Barbecue
Moyne Templetuohy Camogie Club and Templetuohy Community Playground will host a joint fundraising barbecue and family fun day at the Temple Bar Pub on Sunday next, June 4 from 4pm to 7pm.

Music provided by Midnight Run.

Auction and Spot Prizes galore. Tickets at €5 are available from any committee member, or they can be purchased on the day.

All support appreciated.

Condolences

First Communion
Eleven young boys and girls from Holy Family National School received their First Communion in Templetuohy Church last weekend while five young children from Scoil na Maighne will receive their First Communion in Moyne Church this coming Saturday at 11.30am.

Wedding Bliss
Congratulations to Catriona Doyle, Cooleeney and Gerry Keaveney, Limerick who were married in Moyne Church on May 20 and Ciara Gorman, Lisdonowley and Cathal Bourke, Borrisoleigh who were married in Miltown Malbay on May 18.
We wish both couples every blessing in their married lives.

Mary’s Meals
Mary’s Meals is an international organisation which provides school meals to more than 2.4 million children each day. It costs €22 to feed a child for the full school year. If you can help out with a donation to this great cause, please place your donation in an envelope marked “Mary’s Meals” and leave in at any mass over the coming weeks.

Church Gate Collection
This coming weekend June 3/4, a church gate collection will take place in aid of Nurture Africa.
Claire Maher is heading to Uganda to volunteer with the organisation and is raising funds to help towards the education of young people in schools and also to help set up a nutritional project that will give them the tools and resources to become more self-reliant and help make a brighter future for their families. All support would be appreciated.

Pope John Paul Awards
Congratulations to both Martin Cleere and Cathal Guilfoyle who received the highest award, the Papal Cross, for all their work and commitment during the past year in the Church and Community. This was a follow on from receiving the Pope John Paul II Awards last year.
If anyone from the parish in Transition Year or 5th Year would like to take part this coming year, please contact Fiona on 086-8682007.

County Champions
Congratulations to the U14 girls on winning the County U14 C Championship last weekend.
In a hard-fought match against Clonoulty Rossmore they came out on top by two points.
Great support for the girls which was much appreciated by the team and management.
