Sympathy to the family of Michael Fox
Sadness at the death of Michael Fox, Burncourt, consolation at a long life lived to the full.
A very proud Burncourt and Tipperary man, Michael was a great stalwart, whose way of life exemplified his core values of family ,farming, faith community and sport.
Michael’s genuine smile, his ability to chat to all was a life enhancing experience. He was a steadfast and generous supporter of all community activities, whether it was financial, physical, attendance and involvement at every possible event, not forgetting his wonderful bread making skills and sending us all home content with a rousing rendition of Sliabh na mBan.
One of life’s gentlemen, Michael will be lovingly missed by his dear wife Maura, sons Pat and Owen, daughter Juliette, grandchildren Isolde, Derval and Shane and great grandson Theo to whom we extend our deepest condolences.
Our sympathy to daughter in law Margaret, son in law Mark and all his relatives, neighbours and many friends.
I measc an naingeal is na naomh go raibh Micheál.
With many thanks to one of Burncourt Community Council’s great supporters.

And from me “Thanks to thee my worthy friend for the lessons thou hast taught, thus at the flaming forge of life, our fortunes must be wrought” (Henry Longfellow).

Rest in peace Mike Fox, your life’s work is done.
