A poster for the Nollaig na mBan Walk
After all the food, drink and partying over the Christmas season, what better way to start the New Year than taking part in a 7km walk around Clogheen to celebrate Women's Little Christmas on Saturday, January 6 and to raise funds for Cuan Saor Women's Refuge in Clonmel.
The walk starts at 11am and is being organised by the Rhododendron Walking Festival Committee. It is a loop walk that will take in Shanrahan Woods and finish at the Market Stone Bar & Restaurant in Clogheen for a light lunch. Walkers taking part are advised to wear strong footwear.
