Councillor Seamus Hanafin has requested that the council implement a weight restriction on vehicles travelling in the area of Kennedy Park, Childers Park and Collins Park in Thurles.
Cllr Hanafin said at this week's sitting of Thurles-Templemore Municipal District that the speed bumps in the residential area were “not doing their job.”
District Engineer Thomas agreed and said the council department would discuss it.
