Mid Tipperary community celebrate with two recent weddings

Wedding Celebrations
Congratulations to Sarah Phelan, Cranagh and Conor O’Rourke, Cork and Bianca Quinn, Templetuohy and Pat Delaney, Durrow on their recent weddings held in Templetuohy Church.

Condolences
Sincere condolences to the families, relatives, friends, and neighbours of Rita Kennedy, Templetuohy, Martin Prout, Gortnahoe and Mary Bourne, Zambia. May their souls rest in peace.

Anniversary Mass
The first anniversary mass for the late Tomás Flynn, Moyneard, takes place this Saturday evening May 25 at 7.30pm in Moyne Church.

Confirmation
Forty-three children from Moyne & Templetuohy will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in Templetuohy Church this Wednesday, May 22 at 11am with Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly officiating.

Moyne Bridge Club
Highest compliments to the management and staff of the Templemore Arms on the beautiful meal enjoyed by all our members on Tuesday, May 7. Following the meal, the results of the President’s Prize played on April 23 and April 30 were revealed.
Warmest congratulations to Betty Maher who was a very deserving winner. Joint 2nd was Marie O’Dwyer & Marie Ryan, 3rd Ann Everard, 4th Mary Moore, 5th Jim O’Meara, 6th Margaret Brolan, 7th Kathleen Ryan, 8th Martin Costigan, 9th Joan Doyle, 10th Biddy Shanahan.
The evening concluded with fine music and song provided by Phil & John Maher. Well done to our President, Margaret Brolan, who carried out all her duties in such an exemplary way.
Bridge has now concluded at Moyne Community Centre for the summer months and will resume in mid-September. Wishing all our members a happy and healthy summer.
