The Tipp Indian Community has announced their much-anticipated Clonmel Summer Fest 2024 on 20th of July at Ferry house Sports Complex, Clonmel. The Indian community is riding on the huge success of last years Summer Fest at the same venue. This was a significant milestone of testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of the Indian community towards fostering and enriching cultural harmony among the people of Tipperary.
Tipp Indian Community was established in 2005 and has been joyfully serving the Tipperary community for over 19 years. From the humble beginning, the Tipp Indian Community has flourished into a vibrant and inclusive organization representing the diverse and vibrant Indian diaspora in South Tipperary and its surrounding regions. The Indian community has continually strived to promote the values and traditions of Indian culture while respectfully embracing the rich Irish heritage that thrives in the premier county.
Tipp Indian Community has enthusiastically and successfully participated In Irish festivals such as St Patricks Day Parade, Apple Fest etc. The Indian community has also organized numerous cultural events, festivals, and charitable initiatives that have captivated and engaged the wider Irish community.
The Indian community is really moved with the involvement of the participation of local Irish people in last year’s Summer Fest event. This year, the organisers are planning to bring the real carnival experience back to Clonmel. This includes various outdoor and indoor programmes with ample opportunities for showcasing talents and cultural diversity. The organisers are also bringing back the prime sporting event-Tug-of- War with exciting prizes. Another main attraction of the event is Cinematic and Folk dance performances on the stage. In addition, there will be an Indian Food Festival named Ruchi, Children’s rides, bouncy castles, magic shows, vintage car shows, live music and many more fun filled events.
Moreover, this event is FREE ENTRY which is made possible with the generous financial support of our proud sponsors. The organisers are expecting over 3000 people from all over the country to take part in the Clonmel Summer Fest 2024. This will be an amazing event where people can celebrate cultural diversity, bring the community together, and make lasting memories.
