More calls for traffic calming measures in Tipperary village

Councillor Sean Ryan made the call at a recent sitting of Thurles-Templemore Municipal District

Councillor Sean Ryan has called for traffic calming measures for the village of Gortnahoe. 

At last month’s sitting of the Thurles-Templemore Municipal District Council, Cllr Ryan said:

“We have great work for Bornacrusha and Ballycahill and a credit it is but can we do the same for Gortnahoe,” said Cllr Ryan.

District Engineer Thomas Duffy said they are aware of the problem in Gortnahoe and will follow up with the gardaí.

“We will get there eventually,” said Mr Duffy.
