Thurles
Tipperary County Councillor Jim Ryan has issued a warning to drivers in the Thurles area.
Posting on his Facebook page this morning, Cllr Ryan spoke of the dangers of driving on the Mill Road in Thurles, due to the icy conditions.
He said: "Please be careful while driving along the Mill Road in Thurles particularly at the Archestown Junction. It is lethal with ice. Loads of cars skidding.
"I have asked the council to salt," he said.
