Gardaí, supported by the Armed Support Unit, the Dog Unit, and members of the Defence Forces, conducted a search and arrest operation today, January, 29, in Tipperary Town as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent disorder incident that occurred on 16th December, 2024.
In the course of the operation Gardaí conducted a search of a residence in the Rosanna Road area.
The search resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia, approximately €1,000 worth of cannabis herb and several weapons.

Two men, one in his late teens and the other in his forties, were arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in County Tipperary.
Both have since been charged in connection with the investigation and are scheduled to appear before the Nenagh District Court later today.
Separately, a woman in her thirties was also arrested on foot of a bench warrant and will be brought before the Criminal Courts of Justice.
Investigations are continuing.
