The application lodged on September 4, by Yellow Wave Limited, seeks permission for the construction of 75 two-storey houses and 16 apartments contained within four two-storey blocks. The scheme includes 28 four-bedroom terraced houses, 38 three-bedroom terraced houses, nine two-bedroom terraced houses and 16 two-bedroom apartments.

The proposed works also cover the development of internal roads, footpaths, landscaped green areas, boundary treatments, public lighting and other related infrastructure. The plans provide for connection to existing on-site services and the completion of all ancillary site works.

A Natura Impact Statement has been submitted with the application to evaluate any potential environmental implications.

Tipperary County Council is scheduled to make a decision on the proposal by October 29.
