LIVE: Fuel prices across Tipperary continue to increase amidst ongoing energy crisis

Fuel prices across Ireland have spiked following the US and Israeli attacks on Iran last weekend.

The cost of petrol, diesel, and home heating fuels nationwide have increased drastically in the week following the attacks.

Some social media users have criticised what they see to be a ‘rip off’.

The above photos were shared in the Facebook group ‘FUEL PRICES IRELAND’, with the image on the left being taken at Circle K in Borrisokane, and the image on the right being taken at Inver in Newport.

Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation Jack Chambers meanwhile has said that providing relief during this time would be inappropriate, stating that reliefs could potentially incentivise further behaviour within the market.
