An Garda Síochána Tipperary
Parking plans for Sunday’s Munster Hurling Championship clash between Tipperary and Cork have been set out, as authorities prepare for a sizable influx of supporters to Semple Stadium.
In a guidance issued online, An Garda Síochána in Tipperary drew attention to the parking arrangements for Sunday and urged those attending to study them in advance.

A map accompanying the notice, illustrates the designated zones intended to accommodate match-day traffic.
According to the advisory, “all areas in yellow are the designated parking areas”, signalling a structured approach aimed at easing congestion in and around Semple Stadium.
The same notice makes clear that a “sterile pedestrian zone” will be in place surrounding the stadium and its environs, a measure designed to separate foot traffic from vehicles in the busiest areas.

The approach reflects a familiar pattern for major fixtures, where crowd safety and traffic management take precedence.
By restricting vehicle access close to the ground, organisers seek to reduce bottlenecks while improving conditions for those arriving on foot.
Supporters are also being asked to play their part. The Garda notice encourages people to share the information with any ‘visitors’ who may be attending on the day, a nod to the large number of travelling Cork supporters expected to make the journey.
With attendance expected to be at high, supporters should prepare to plan their journey carefully and set off early.
