The N52 Nenagh/ Borrisokane road, just south of Ardcroney, has reopened following a two vehicle collision this afternoon.
The accident occurred at 4pm on Wednesday afternoon. Diversions were put in place but the road has now been reopened.
Two people were taken to University Hospital Limerick however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Due to heavy rainfall motorists are being advised to take extra caution on the roads.
