Secondary school teenagers were terrified after a man in his 20's entered their hotel room uninvited
Gardaí are investigating an incident at a hotel near Moate in which a man allegedly entered the dorm room where a number of teenage girls from a secondary school in North Tipperary were sleeping after spending the day working at the National Ploughing Championships.
The incident occurred at a hotel near Moate, Co. Westmeath at 1am on Thursday, 20th September.
The teenagers had spent the day working at the National Ploughing Championships in Offaly as part of their work experience programme.
A garda spokesperson confirmed to the Tipperary Star that a "man aged in his 20s" is currently assisting Gardaí with their investigations.
