Burglars steal sawdust from Co. Tipperary racecourse

Fourteen bags of sawdust were stolen from Clonmel Racecourse and four dog coats were swiped from a shed at Mylerstown, Clonmel on the same night last week. 

The sawdust shavings was stolen from a shed at the Powerstown Park Racecourse at Powerstown, Clonmel last Thursday night/Friday morning. 

Meanwhile, the dog coats were taken from a shed that was broken into at Shanakill, Mylerstown, Clonmel between 6pm and 10pm last Thursday night. 

Gardai investigating the thefts have appealed to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the vicinity of Powerstown Park Racecourse and in the Mylerstown area that night to contact Clonmel Garda Station at (052) 6122222.
