Ballycahill choir will hold a Carol Service on Sunday evening next
Over the past months the Ballycahill choir has been busy rehearsing for the Christmas season under the expert direction of Louise Corbett McCullagh.
The number of members has increased to over 20 and growing. A festive carol service is scheduled to take place in the church on Sunday next the 18th December at 6pm.
This promises to be another special event for our community to enjoy, with a unique repertoire planned by Louise.
Donations for two very deserving charities will be collected on the night - BUMBLEance and the North Tipperary Hospice.
BUMBLEance is the Children’s Ambulance Service of Ireland. The service is the first of its kind in the world. It has all the amenities of a regular ambulance but it includes the all-important extras to make a sick child’s journey as safe, comfortable and entertaining as possible.
The North Tipperary Hospice Movement is well known for its exceptional work for the very ill. The Movement strives to ensure that no one should have to go through this experience alone and they provide in-home care-support and individualised care, giving respect, compassion, dignity and support to all who contact them.
All their services free of charge.
Come and enjoy what promises to be a memorable evening of music and carols in our 200 year old church. Please join us in the Community Centre immediately after the service for light refreshments and a Christmas get-together.
All are welcome.
Venue: St Cataldus' Ballycahill on Sunday next December 18th at 6pm.
See you there.
