The panto is back in Clonmel at the White Memorial Theatre
We're back, oh yes we are! St Mary's Choral Society Clonmel are delighted, after three long years, to be finally back in rehearsal for their forthcoming pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty, which opens on Saturday 4th February at the White Memorial Theatre, kindly sponsored by Clonmel Credit Union.
Once upon a time in Pantoland, far, far away, the beautiful Princess Aurora was born to King Jolly and Queen Merry. When the the came for her to be christened, an uninvited guest, the evil Maleficent cursed the princess, so that on her 17th birthday, she would prick her finger and fall asleep for many years. What could possibly undo such a dastardly curse?
Unlike poor Sleeping Beauty, audience members will be kept wide awake and entranced as the musical tale unfolds before their eyes. Come join Nanny Nellie Knickers and friends as they take on Maleficent in the quest to free the beautiful Princess.
Packed with amazing colour, fantastic costumes and singing, breathtaking dance routines and tonnes of belly laughs, this pantomime promises to be a magical rollercoaster ride for all the family to enjoy.
Tickets are available to book online and the pantomime will run for 6 performances.
Matinees will take place on Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February with two evening performances on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th. Tickets are 15euros with a family ticket priced at 50euros (4 tickets) available for the evening shows. Tickets can be booked at https://www.ticketsource.eu/ whitememorialtheatre
